Cafe Florentine: Where Scenic Views Meet Coffee Dreams

Nestled in the picturesque Pagrai Hills of Antipolo City, Cafe Florentine stands as a delightful oasis for coffee lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila. With panoramic views that boast unobstructed sunsets, this cafe isn't just about food—it's an experience you'll cherish.

The ambiance is serene and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic date night. Picture yourself sipping a steaming cup of coffee as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. However, do keep in mind that the heat can intensify just before sunset, so bringing along a light wrap might be a good idea for your visit.

While the menu at Cafe Florentine features a variety of offerings that aim to please, it has garnered mixed reviews regarding its culinary quality relative to its price point. Many patrons, like Nicole Isabel Bahian, have shared that while the Tuna Pesto and Fish and Chips are generous in portion, they leave something to be desired in flavor depth. Similarly, Jona fe Neuda expressed a hope for more unique presentation, particularly mentioning a preference for signature cups to complement the cafe's upscale pricing.

On a positive note, the coffee and pizza have received commendations for being above average—a must-try if you stop by! Fans of the tranquil oasis setting often share their delight with experiences like the fantastic view that enhances the dining experience, making Cafe Florentine perfect for relaxations and unwinding after a busy day.

Overall, Cafe Florentine excels in providing a charming environment that highlights the beauty of Antipolo. While the culinary offerings are still finding their footing, the allure of the view paired with a warm beverage is an irresistible combination. So whether you’re a local or passing through, make sure to carve out some time to visit this hidden gem in Rizal—just be prepared to embrace the beauty outside as much as, if not more than, what’s on your plate.

The place is really nice and the view is fantastic. They have a lot of tables/spaces where you can view the sunset unobstructed. Tho it gets really hot just right before the sunset so get ready for that. The food tho was overpriced for its quality but I understand you are really paying for the view rather than the food. And I have yet to try other items from their menu. If you are seated at the lower part of the resto, it is quite hard to get a hold of the staff. Better if they put a buzzer/bell system per table to call the staff. It was also a very steep drive, even the parking lot has a very steep driveway. Kaya naman ng sedan pero baka medyo mahirapan. Mas ok for bigger cars. For more full reviews and recommendations find our socials! Julius & Roselle The Try-Hard Guy

Good place to visit for a city view or a date night. This place is near metro manila. Expect that food and beverages are pricey but the quality is low. I hope they will improve their food.

My boyfriend and I love the view.. it’s so relaxing. The coffee and pizza are above average, though a bit pricey. I felt a bit disappointed with their cups, especially considering the price. I was expecting them to have their own signature cups, not the typical ones you’d find at a regular budget coffee shop.

We recently visited Cafe Florentine in Antipolo and ordered their Tuna Pesto and Fish and Chips. The portion sizes were generous — definitely enough for two people, which we appreciated. However, for the price point, we felt the dishes could use more in terms of flavor depth or uniqueness. The food wasn’t bad at all — just not something that stood out compared to other cafes in the area offering similar dishes at a lower price. It felt like a large part of what you’re paying for is the ambiance and scenic view, which, to be fair, is absolutely lovely and relaxing. The cafe’s interior and overall vibe are definitely a highlight. It’s a nice place if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful view over coffee or light meals. Just temper your expectations if you’re visiting mainly for the food. Still worth trying, especially if you’re in the area and want a quiet spot with a view.
